1. Accessing the CRM

Press Ranger comes with a built-in CRM that allows you to manage and track your communication with journalists and publishers seamlessly. To access the CRM, simply login to your Press Ranger account and navigate to the CRM section from the main dashboard.

2. Setting a Status on Journalist or Publisher Profiles

Keeping track of your interactions with journalists and publishers is crucial. Press Ranger allows you to set statuses on any profile to help you manage these relationships effectively.

Steps to Set a Status:

  1. Go to the profile of the journalist or publisher. You can also do this from the media database search results.
  2. Select Set a Status from the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose the appropriate status for the profile (e.g., Contacted, Interested, Follow-Up, etc.).

By setting statuses, you can easily categorize and prioritize your contacts based on their current interaction stage.

3. Viewing Contacts with a Status

To view all of your contacts that have been assigned a status, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the CRM section from the main dashboard.
  2. Here, you will see a list of all your contacts, filtered by their assigned statuses.

This view allows you to quickly assess your current outreach efforts and follow up as needed.

4. Adding Notes to Profiles

Adding notes to profiles helps you keep detailed records of your interactions and any relevant information about your contacts.
